Wastewater Level – Level-7.5-50 – FOGRod

The Wastewater Level Level-7.5-50 FOGRod is one of the most reliable systems on the market today. The failsafe lift station level device is almost as simple as floats, but with much less maintenance. It’s way simpler than ultrasonics and can’t fail like pressure transducers.

The FOGRod works through conductivity. It hangs in the lift station and connects to an electronic device in the control panel. The FOGRod is a slim PVC rod with 10 metal contacts spaced down its length. Each contact represents a different level.

The Level Indicator Transmitter (LIT) applies a very low voltage signal to each contact and tests for current flow to ground. When current flows it means that the contact is covered with liquid.

The Level-7.5-50 FOGRod includes 7.5 foot FOGRod with 50 feet of cable, plus cleaning bracket and Level Indicator Transmitter.
