Poly Processing – Sloped Bottom IMFO Tank
The Poly Processing Sloped Bottom IMFO tank minimizes the hazards associated with vertical tank maintenance thanks to its sloped bottom. With the IMFO system, the flange is molded while the tank is processing, making it a stress free part of the tank. The sloped floor of the tank gives you the greatest possible full drain system in a vertical tank design.
The flange is located at the bottom of the tank, and the sloped floor ensures full drainage below the tank’s knuckle radius, eliminating the need for internal cleaning. Its one-piece construction boosts long-term performance, preserving the integrity of the tank hoop and structural design. For aggressive applications, the entire flange face is shielded by the antioxidant OR-1000™ system. The Sloped Bottom IMFO is designed to handle even heavier materials like sludge, FOG, and thicker chemicals, allowing them to discharge completely.
The Poly Processing Sloped Bottom IMFO tanks are crosslinked with polyethylene for superior strength. It features the double-wall containment system, which provides a secondary containment to avoid damaging your equipment or property, injuring your employees, or loss of chemicals in the event of a spill. It is designed specifically to keep contaminants from entering the interstitial space. The double wall system alleviates the need to build large, high maintenance concrete containment areas.
Features:
110% secondary containment
Equalizes liquid and allows the chemical to be continually used until it is convenient to repair the tank
Ideal for chemicals such as sulfuric acid
Minimizes system’s footprint by providing secondary containment
